Personalised lanyards can be made of several different materials, including nylon, polyester, satin, silk, braided leather and braided umbrella cords. Most of the lanyards are made of sturdy and durable polyester or nylon, which can withstand a certain degree of tearing, pulling or even cutting, although a sharp pair of scissors can pierce the material. Nylon and polyester fibers are the best materials for lanyards, which have a uniform combination between durability and comfort.
